12th June 2026
09:00h – 15:00h
The RIVCircular project promotes collaboration in the field of circular economy, aligning with the new European Innovation Agenda. Its goal is to strengthen European innovation ecosystems by bringing value to the participating regions and contributing to a more sustainable future.
The objective of this online session is to facilitate partner search and consortium building for the RIVCircular cascade funding call, which will remain open until 17 September 2026 at 14h CET.
The target audience of the session are legal organisations (public or private bodies, profit or non-profit) such public bodies, academia, research centres, corporations, SMEs* and other business organisations interested in boosting technologies in the circular economy sector and based in the regions and territories covered by the RIVCircular project: Innlandet (Norway), Madrid (Spain), Kyiv-Oblast (Ukraine), Haut-de-France (France), Extremadura (Spain), Vienna (Austria) and Greece.
Therefore, whether you:
-
have a project idea and wish to lead a proposal,
-
have a project idea but are looking for an organisation with the capacity to coordinate the proposal, or
-
do not yet have a project idea but are interested in joining a consortium,
this session will provide an opportunity to pitch ideas, connect with potential partners, and contribute to the development of strong proposals addressing circular economy challenges within the RIVCircular call.
*According to the definition in EU recommendation 2003/361
How will the session work?
The session will be structured around the five thematic topics of the call and divided into five corresponding blocks. A 15-minute break will be scheduled between each block. For each topic there will be:
- Pitching session
Up to six organisations will each deliver a 5-minute pitch to present their project idea and outline the type of partners they are seeking.
- Breakout discussions
Following the pitches, participants will be invited to select the project idea most relevant to their expertise and interests. They will then join dedicated breakout rooms to introduce their organisation and capabilities, explore potential contributions to the project, and engage in initial discussions with other interested stakeholders.
This dynamic is designed to foster targeted networking and accelerate the formation of well-balanced consortium.
